Brazilian Cherry - Jatoba

Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba) is known for its hardness and durability and is a great choice for both residential and commercial installations.

Jatoba wood is a brownish-red colour and darkens from a tan/salmon colour to a deep, reddish brown. Jatoba is 228% harder than Oak, rating 2820 on the Janka Hardness scale.

Brazilian Cherry sands and finishes easily and polishing can create a wonderful high lustre.
